Our newest addition, The Rehab Center of Cherokee, offers a wide variety of rehabilitative therapies provided by a qualified and caring staff.  Our short-term rehab is designed for patients leaving the hospital who require additional skilled nursing or rehabilitation before returning home.  Our goal is to restore each resident as quickly as possible to his / her highest level of activity and independence. 

The Rehab Center has 12 spacious private rooms with private bathrooms, telephone, cable TV with DVD players, and much more.  With its own designated entrance, the Rehab Center includes a state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym.  Since opening in March 2005, it has been our pleasure to serve many residents of Cherokee and surrounding counties with a high rate of success.  It has been called “the best kept secret in Cherokee County,” and we are working hard to get the word out!

We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.  These Rehab services are offered by Champion-Partners in Rehab.  Champion’s therapists will pave the often slow, frustrating road to recovery with patience, support and encouragement.  Champion states that its primary goal is “to create long-term mutually beneficial partnerships with each and every customer.”

Examples of diagnoses, which may indicate the need for rehabilitation services, include (but are not limited to):

• hip or knee replacement

• amputation(s)

• cardiac disease

• pulmonary disease

• generalized weakness

• balance disorders

• Parkinson's disease

• pneumonia

• difficulty swallowing
